John A. Mullins, Jr. obituary
John A. Mullins, Jr. 62, 4658 Inke Road, died Friday night at Reid Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Wise County, VA and had resided in the Whitewater area for the past 29 years. He was a tool and die maker at Arnett Tool Co. in New Paris, and was the owner of Mullins Nursery. He was a member and elder at Whitewater Christian Church and a member of the church's bowling league.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Neva Lewis Mullins; three sons, Richard Wayne Mullins and Lloyd Mullins, both of Wichita, Kan., and David Mullins of Beckley, W. Va., two daughters, Sharon Roberts of Lynn, and Debra Garrett of Wallington, N. J. , one brother, David Mullins of Union City, four sisters, Thelma Maggard, Juanita Mullins, Fernande Mullins and Vivian Speckner, all of Bradenton, Fla., 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Mullins.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City with Ray Vance officiating. Burial will be in Hollansburg Cemetery in Hollansburg, Ohio. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
