Neva Faye Lewis Mullins, 82 years of age, of Richmond, Indiana, departed this life and entered into eternal peace on Saturday, March 30th, 2013.
Neva was born on July 22nd, 1930 in Arba, Indiana, daughter of the late Joseph Dean and Wilma Delight Harlan Lewis. She graduated from Spartanburg High School and was a homemaker and a member of the Whitewater Christian Church.
Neva was survived by two daughters, Debra Mullins and Sharon (and Ron) Roberts; two sons, Lloyd (and Jessica) Mullins and David (and Robin) Mullins; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Wilma Lewis; her loving husband, John A. Mullins, Jr., whom she married on November 25th, 1948 and who departed this life on May 17th, 1991; two sons, singer-songwriter-musician, Richard Wayne Mullins, who departed this life on September 19th, 1997 and Brian Dee Mullins, who died in infancy on November 4th, 1957; and two brothers, Joseph Darrell Lewis and Richard L. Lewis.
Visitations were held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013 at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 in the Chapel of the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home with Ray Vance officiating.
Interment followed in the Hollansburg Cemetery in Hollansburg, Ohio.
