Mrs. Dan Scully, Longtime Resident of Gentilly, Dies

Mrs. Dan (Azilda) Scully, 81, of Crookston, a former longtime resident of the Gentilly area, died Wednesday at a Crookston hospital.

The former Azilda Lance was born Dec. 5, 1903 a Gentilly. Mr. Scully died five years ago.

Mrs. Scully was a memeber ot the Lady Foresters and St. Anne's Club.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Louis (Gladys) Chouinard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Ed (Lucille) Schiller of Yakima, Washington, Miss Genevieve Scully at home, Mrs. William (Viola) Clement of Yakima, Washington, and Mrs. Kermit (Ursula) Ueland of St. Paul; four sons, Raymond of Maches, Washington, Ingnatius and Robert of Yakima, Washington and Roy of Gentilly; 36 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Edmund and fred Lance of Gentilly and three sisters, Mrs. Olive Mercil of St. Paul, Mrs. Clara Vaudrin and Mrs. Josephine Scully, of Crookston.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from St. Peter's Catholic Church in Gentilly with Msgr. Victor Cardin Officiating.

The body may be viewed this afternoon and evening at the Norman Funeral Home with Recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. tonight.
