Mrs. Vaudrin, 79, City Resident Dies today

Mrs. Clara Vaudrin, 79 Crookston, died this morning at a local hospital.

Mrs. Vaudrin was born July 30, 1890 in Canada to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lance. She married Fedime Vaudrin on November 25, 1913 in Gentilly. The family farmed in the Gentilly area and after her husband's death in 1940 Mrs. Vaudrin moved into Crookston. She lived here until 1967 when she became a resident of a Red Lake Falls Nursing Home.

She is survived by two sons, Paul of Crookston and Narcis of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Fred Lance of Gentilly; one sister Mrs Olive Mercil of Baton Rouge, LA. Besides her husband, one son, Michael, three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Vaudrin was a member of the parish of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the National Catholic Society of Foresters, as well as the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary.

A Requiem High Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with the Msgr. John R. McAleer as celebrant. A Rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Stenshoels; Friends and relatives may call Friday afternoon and evening at Stenshoels.

Pallbearers for the funeral will be Victor Amiot, Raymond Vaudrin, Delbert Vaudrin, Clement Chouinard, Roy Scullly and Clifford Scully.
