Gladys Cornelia Haugtvedt was born on November 14, 1911 near Greenbush, MN. She attended school and grew to womanhood here, grading from Greenbush High School. Gladys was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On July 7, 1940 she was united in marriage to Roy Graff at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, near Greenbush. The couple farmed near Strathcona until his death in April of 1943. Gladys continued to make her home on the farm, and taught school in both the Strathcona and Greenbush communities over the years.

On February 11, 1950, Gladys was united in marriage to Gilman Myran at Greenbush. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Greenbush. Gilman passed away in December in 1975. Gladys passed away unexpectedly at her Greenbush home on March 29, 1983.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bill(Janice)Pomplun of Chicago; two brothers and four sisters; in addition to several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

Services were held on April 2, 1983 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Greenbush. Interment was in the Bethel Church Cemetery.
