Mrs. Hilda Olson, 80, of Drayton, ND died Wednesday December 10, 1980 at the Karlstad Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 13, at the Drayton Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Drayton City Cemetery.

Hilda Petrina Haugtvedt was born on December 26, 1899 near Greenbush, MN. She attended rural schools and grew to womanhood in that community. She was married December 8, 1928 to Leif Arthur Olson. The couple made their home in Drayton, ND. She was a member and past officer of Rosebank Rebekah Lodge, and a member of the American Legion auxiliary and the Drayton Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two sons: Elwood Olson, Missoula, Montana and Wayne, Detroit Lake, MN; seven granchildren, two brothers Emil and Palmer Haugtvedt, both of Greenbush, and five sisters: Mrs. Selma Carlson, Drayton, Mrs. Harold (Anna) Forsness, and Mrs. Gladys Myran, Greenbush; Mrs. Walter (Minnie) Thomas, Thief River Falls, and Mabel Haugtvedt of St. Petersburg, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1962.
