William Walker Leader, youngest child of John Leader and Rhoda Walker, was born 6 January, 1839, in Blenheim, Oxford, Ontario, Canada.
He married Caroline Cole on 23 July, 1861 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
William and Caroline were the parents of: Jared Albert, Arthur Isaac, Mary Jane "Jennie", Oscar Franklin, Rosa May and Roland Wallace Leader.
William spent his entire life in Oxford, Ontario, until about 1901, when his wife Caroline died.
He then moved to Michigan, where a number of his children were living.
He died at Red Cross Hospital, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan on 26 May, 1905, of Hemiphelia.
He was 66y, 3m, 20 days
