Daughter of John Leader and Rhoda Walker, born 5 September, 1823, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire, England.
On 13 October, 1834, the family landed in New York, from England, aboard the Brig Meridian.
By 1851, they are living in Blenheim, Ontario, Canada.
Rhoda married Sylvester Colborn, son of Amos John Colborn and Jennie Colborn, on 26 March, 1834, Blenheim, Brock district, Ontario, Canada. They were married by Rev. Nathan Parke, Methodist Episcopal Minister; witnessed by John Leader and Abraham Colburn.
Mother of Amos John, Mary Jennie, Rhoda Elizabeth, Hannah Marie, Samuel L., Joseph W., Sylvester W., William H., Benjamin M. and Melissa E. Colborn.

Rhoda has no headstone, her name is listed on a memorial plaque for the entire cemetery.
