Genevieve Worley, aged 91, passed away peacefully at the Sundial Palms Living & Memory Care on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Genevieve was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 27, 1921, the daughter of Charles Dugo and Rosalie DiSalvo Dugo.
Genevieve was a devout Catholic and served in the Legion of Mary at Our Lady of Fatima church for more than twenty years. She consistently served the church in many other capacities with a happy heart, a gentle soul, and open arms for many decades. Genevieve especially enjoyed serving Our Lady and prayed the Holy Rosary daily.
In addition to raising two children, Genevieve was a talented artist and oil painter. Although angels were her favorite subject, she also painted beautiful portraits of Jesus, Mary and Moses. Over the years, she was quick to give away her work; she was a very generous woman who loved people.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Worley; brothers, Charles, Tom, Sam, and Carlos; sisters, Antoinet and Virginia.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at St. Joseph's Church, 1813 Oakdale Road, Modesto, California. This will be followed by a graveside service at St. Stanislaus Cemetery on Scenic Drive in Modesto.
Donations can be made in Genevieve's name to Department of Veterans Affairs.
