BELOVED GANDPA

Judson Lamoni Tolman 73, well known farmer and church worker of Sandy died of a heart ailment Friday at 12:30 p.m. while at work on his farm.

He was born Feb. 9, 1881 Bountiful a son of Jaren and Mary Ann Briggs Tolman. Grandpa Tolman's mother died when he was a lad of 13. When he was a young boy he worked with his Father getting timber out of the mountains east of Bountiful. He attended Bountiful school.

He married Pauline Hatch on March 13,1901 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

They resided in Byron and Lovell Wyoming for a number of years after 1904. In 1923 they moved back from Wyoming to Lehi, Utah where there youngest son Ralph was born. They moved to Sandy, Utah in 1924 and remained there the rest of his life.

He was a farmer and raised produce and used to take wagons full of produce to Bingham Canyon and Salt Lake to sell.
He was working and just putting the horse away for lunch when he died of a heart attack in his coral.

Funeral services were conducted at the Sandy First ward.
Burial in Sandy City Cemetery.

My Grandpa Tolman was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. He was a hard worker. He loved his family and his religion and lived it to the fullest. I was only 11 when my grandpa died, but I will never ever forget him.
Rest in Peace. I love you and miss you.
