Elmer Judson Tolman, son of Judson L and Pauline Hatch Tolman was born on May 12, 1916 in Lovell, Wyoming, passed away Febuary 28, 1997 at his home in Apple Valley, California at the age of 80.
He lived in California for 61 years and owned his own business, E. J. Tolman & Company in South Gate for 48 years.
Elmer served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the following organizations, The Lynwood Mounted Police, Mojave Rattlers Car Club; Apple Valley Early V8 Ford Club, Elks Lodge #133, B.P.O.E. Parker, Az; American Legion in Big River, Ca; The Eagles Lodge in South Gate, Ca and the Thunderbird Square Dancing Club in Apple Valley., Ca.
He restored antiques for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Darlynn Tolman from Apple Valley, Ca; his children, Gerald Lee Tolman of Garden Grove, Ca; De Loy Tolman of Chino Hills, Ca; his siblings, Bea Coyner of St. George, Ut; Lucile Smith of Draper, Ut; Alice Broomhead of Alpine, Ut; Ruth Hardcastle and Ralph Tolman of Sandy, Ut; step-children, Neil Decker of Walnut, Ca. Carol Cuervo of Victorville, Ca; Debbie Heaps of San Diego, Ca. His posterity includes thirteen grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and twenty nine great grandchildren.
Services Held at Memorial Chapel March 5, 1997 at 1:00 p.m.

This is my Uncle. My mother's brother. I only remember Uncle Elmer when he would come to Utah for visits. But I do remember him very well. He was a sweet, lovable man. and I will miss him. REST IN PEACE UNCLE ELMER
