Orin Hatch Tolman was born in Lovell, Wyoming the first son of Judson Lamoni and Pauline Hatch Tolman.
His Father had waited through 5 daughters to get a son to help on the farm. They lived in Lovell, Wyoming until Orin was 11 years old when they moved to Lehi, Utah for a year and then moved to Sandy, Utah.
Orin married Irene Hill and they raised their children in Sandy, Utah. Phillip, Gordon, Robert and Janice. They later moved to Parker, Arizona and this is where he lived until his death.

Orin Hatch Tolman: Parker, Arizona- Orin Hatch Tolman 73 passed awy March 31, 1986 in a Phoenix hospital of cancer.
Born April 19, 1912 in Lovell, Big Horn County, Wyoming to Judson L. and Pauline Hatch Tolman. Married Irene Hill, February 3, 1932 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. He lived most of his life in Sandy and has lived the past 18 years in Parker, Arizona. He was a farmer and pedaled produce in Bingham for years. H hunter, miner and sportsman. Member of L.D.S. Church.
He is survived by his wife, Parker Arizona, sons and daughter, Phillip and Orin Robert both of Sandy, Gordon of Midvale, Janice Jenkins, Mt. Pleasant; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two step grandchildren , five step great grandchildren: brothers and sisters, Wilson H. Napa, California, Elmer J. Southgate, California, Ralph H., Mrs O Albert (Ruth Hardcastle, both Sandy, Beatrice Coyner, Parker, Arizona, Mrs. G.H. Pierson; Yucca Valley, Ca.: Mrs. Lucile T. Smith, Draper; Mrs. Rulon T. (Alice ) Broomhead, Alpine.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Deseret Mortuary in Sandy. 10055 So. State where friends may call Sunday evening 7-9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Redwood Estates.
