He was the son of Frederick and Susanna Kathryn Klossner Anken. He married Lena Rosina Klossner at Boonville, Jan. 31, 1900.
He leaves his wife; four sons, Rudolph, Albert E., Redmond and Raymond, all of Constableville; three daughters, Miss Viola Anken, Constableville; Mrs. Clarence Humphrey and Mrs. Oscar Arcand, both of Utica; three sisters, Mrs. Jacob (Lillian) Ueltschi and Mrs. John (Susie) Ueltschi, both of Utica and Mrs. Daniel H. (Clara) O'Brien, Port Leyden; a brother, Frank, Constableville.
