He was the son of Edward and Lena Klossner Anken.
Survivors include two sisters, Rosaline Arcand, Highmarket and Mrs. W. Louis (Viola) Botts, Oklahoma City, OK and two brothers, Albert of Utica and Raymond of Boonville. A sister, Louise, died in 1951 and a brother, Redmond, died in 1977.
