Mildred Whetzel Davis, was 79, and a resident of Masontown when she died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1992, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1912, daughter of Andrew and Lilly Blanche Whetzel. Her Husband "Ellie" Davis preceeded her in death along with; brother Kenneth Whetzel; and a sister Ruth Wheeler. Her four children Charles Davis of Dover, Delaware, Harold Davis of Spokane, Washington, Thelma Jane Davis of Longview, Texas and Mrs. Thomas (Dolores) Clark of Masontown all survived her. At the time of her passing she had ten grandchildren and six siblings whom celebrated her life..Averill Whetzel of Filbert Hts., Ralph Whetzel of New Eagle, Donald Whetzel of East Millsboro, Thelma Taylor of New Hampshire, Leroy Whetzel of Perryopolis and Luella Leonard of Uniontown; along with several nieces and nephews. Friends and Family were received in Haky Funeral home, 515 North Main St., Masontown. Reverend W. Darwin Collins officiated. Interment followed in Masontown Cemetery.
