THOMAS ANDREW DEAD AT HOSPITAL
Thomas Andrew, of Argyle, died yesterday afternoon at the Swedish American hospital in Rockford, following an emergency operation for ulcer of the bowels, at the age of 70 years.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Willow Creek church near Argyle.
There survive the children, Welcome, Beth, Laura, Dorothy, Thomas, Margaret and Lillian of Argyle, and three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Salley and Mrs. Wm. Reid, of the Scotch settlement, and Mrs. John Picken, of Rockford.
Mr. Andrew had lived nearly all his life in the settlement, his residence being directly opposite the Willow Creek church, of which he was a prominent and active member. He was well known to many in Belvidere and held in high esteem by all.
