Oldest Boone County Woman, 97, Is Dead Caledonia, Ill.
Aug. 1 - Funeral arrangements were still incomplete today for Mrs. Janet Kelly, 97, believed to be the oldest woman resident of Boone county, who died at 7:30 o'clock last night at her home southwest of here.
Mrs. Kelly was the last member of a family of 11 children.
Survivors include a son, John A. Kelly, former member of the Boone county board of supervisors living at home; a daughter, Mrs. Archie McCorvie, Sullivan, Ill., and several relatives in Rockford.
Mr. McCorvie, Mrs. Kelly's son-in-law, was former superintendent of the Boone county farm. At present he is superintendent of a Masonic home at Sullivan.
The body was taken to the Atkins-Johnson funeral home in Belvidere.
