Born at Glenmuchlach, she married Robert Ralston in Winn Co., on March 19, 1857. They had six children.

Mrs. Robert Ralston of Caledonia died Saturday morning after a lingering illness of kidney trouble, aged 75 years,
Deceased was born in Argyleshire, Scotland 75 years ago, When five years old she came with her parents to this country and settled in Argyle in 1840. At an early age she made a profession of faith in Christ, and united with the church at Argyle, where she proved to be a consistent member.
In 1867 she was united in marriage to Robert Ralston, a well to do former Caledonia farmer. They raised a family of one son and five daughters. John, the son works the home farm. The children were all near their mother in her last illness. The family follows: Mrs. George Ralston, Caledonia, Mrs. Robert Greenlee, Winnebago, Mrs. George Brown, Guilford, Mrs. James Greenlee of Harlem and Miss Mary Ralston who lives with the father, who is over 80 years of age and has been blessed with a measure of good health and enjoyed the comforts of life.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and relatives who mourn the loss of Mrs. Ralston.
She was held in high esteem by all who knew her in her life time. Besides her own family she leaves two brothers and four sisters, of the Andrew family living near Argyle. Notwithstanding the bad condition of the roads a great many attended the funeral last Monday at 11 o'clock. The remains were laid to rest in the Scotch cemetery. Rev. Pearson conducted the services at the home.
