Argyle, Sept. 10. - Mrs. John Andrew died at her home near Argyle Sunday at the advanced age of 82 years. Her husband, John Andrew, passed away 35 years ago last March. She was a woman who was very liberal in her contributions to the church and was honored and respected by all who knew her for her acts of charity. She was the mother of 11 children, six sons and five daughters, all of whom are living except one son who died when he came to manhood. The remaining sons and daughters were present at their mother's bedside during the long sickness to comfort her. The funeral was held Tuesday at 10 o'clock, and was largely attended. Quite a large number of relatives attended. Rev. W. L. Alexander, who was away at his home, came back to officiate the funeral.
