Born February 24, 1935, in the Spice Wood Spring area of Austin, Helen was Preceded in death by her parents H.O., and Ella (Harp) Simons
Helen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will always be in our prays and thoughts. her memory will live, not only in her family, but in her numerous friends.
Helen is survived by husband Floyd Cantwell of Leander; two brother, Homer Crawford of Leander and John Tuttle of Granite Shoals; one sister Rosa Cantrell of Utopia. She is also survived by her children, Ed (Rusty) and Renee Faurie of Pflugerville, Harold and Cindy Faurie of Briggs, Martha Ferguson of Leander, Larry and Nancy Faurie of Bertram, Lester and Becky Faurie of Liberty Hill, Elizabeth and Rodney Lewis of Leander, Jennie and Ivan Shelnutt of Leander, along with 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, including five new additions in the next seven months, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday October 10, 1999, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Cook-Walden/Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Cook-Walden/Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home on Monday October 11, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Honoring their grandmother as pallbearers will be Mark Faurie, Scott Faurie, Shawn Faurie, Eddie Kerr, Travis Kerr, Michael Faurie, Matthew Lewis, J.R. Shelnutt, Cody Faurie, Joey Faurie and David Giesen.
