Obituary:

Harvey Orburn Simons

Harvey Orburn Simons, 67, of Route 4, Austin, died in a local hospital Monday. He was a retired rancher, and a resident of Travis County most of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Simons of Austin; three sons, V. L. Simons and Harvey Simons of Utopia; three step-sons, Homer Crawford of Fredericksburg, I. H. Crawford of Los Angeles, California, and Robbie Tuttle of Austin; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Cantrell of Utopia; Mrs. Ralph Williamson, Mrs. Truman Ray, and Mrs. Ellie Milton Faurie all of Austin and one step-daughter, Mrs. Ruby Stark of Austin; four brothers, Dick Simons of Austin; Eli Simons of Cedar Park; Bill Simons and Lee Simons of New Braunfels; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Cantrell of Austin and Mrs. Nettie Stark of Brady; 38 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Hyltin-Manor Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Archie McConnell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gene Allen, Leroy Simons, James Crawford, Harvey Cantrell, Monroe Cantrell and Kenneth Tuttle, all grandsons of the deceased.
