Ruby Lee Stark, 79, died at.her home August 3, 1998, after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 12, 1919, in Travis County, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stark.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Steed and husband, Willis, of Austin; three sons, Gene Stark and wife, Sherry, of Leander, Wayne Stark and wife, Mary, ofPt. Mansfield, Texas, and Glen Stark, of Austin; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Cantwell, of Leander; one step-sister, Rosie Cantrell, of Utopia; two brothers, Homer Crawford and John Robbie Turtle, both of Leander.
It was her wish that thanks be extended to the staff at S.W. Regional Cancer Center, with special thanks to Dr. Loukas, Mary and Karen for their kindness over the years.
Visitation wiU be Wednesday evening, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at funeral home. Funeral service will a.m. Thursday, at Cook-Walden-Chapel of the HUls, with Robbie Tuttle officiating. Interment wUl follow at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander.
