The funeral service of Thomas Bryson Mounts, a successful Washington County farmer, who died Tuesday morning March 2 at his home near New Philadelphia, will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Smith Funeral Home by the Rev. Noble Trueblood. Interment will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Son of James and Elizabeth Mullan Mounts, he was born August 23, 1863 at Washington, Pennsylvania. The family afterwards moved to Indiana for residence.
Surviving are the widow Ida Tatlock Mounts; three sons, Edgar Mounts, Thorntown, Ind., Roy Mounts, Birmingham, Iowa, James Mounts, New Philadelphia, Ind; four daughters, Mrs Grace Presley, Long Beach, California, Mrs. Martha Howell, Reading Michigan, Mrs. Cora Empson, Brownstown, Ind., Miss Blanche Elizabeth Mounts, New Philadelphia, Ind.; twenty-six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
