RUBY "SCOTT" ANDERSON

GREEN RIVER, UTAH - Ruby Dale "Scott" Olsen Anderson, 81, died June 18, 1997 peacefully at home.

Ruby was born September 25, 1915 in Moroni, Utah to Isaac and Vernie Mae Christensen Olsen.

She married Harold Smith Anderson on August 20, 1934 in Provo, Utah. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Scott was known locally as a powerful civic person, being a leader in many Green River projects. She also shared in the building of Hal's Services from which she retired after 63 years.

Survivors include her sons and their spouses, Gary D. and Frankie Anderson, Tim and Gwen Anderson of Green River; and Tracy Anderson of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by four sisters, Elsie Johnson and Ivy Thomas of Salt Lake City; Nida Neff of California, and Velda Reid of Orem.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 21, 1997, at 11 a.m. in the Green River LDS Chapel where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery.
