Nephi - Vernie Elizabeth Olsen, 92, of Nephi, died October 27, 1974, at the home of a daughter in Kamas, Summit County.

Born February 14, 1882, in Moroni, Sanpete County, to Jeppy and Elsie Sorenson Christensen. Married Isaac C. Olsen February 25, 1902, in Manti; solemnized Manti LDS Temple; he died April 16, 1947. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Survivors are: son and daughters, Sherman, Price; Mrs. Peter (Naomi) Jordan, Mrs. James (Jackie) Jordan, Mrs. Ralph (Ivy) Thomas, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. George (Elsie) Johnson, Nephi; Mrs. H.S. (Ruby) Anderson, Green River; Mrs. Lester (Nida) Neff, Garden Grove, California; Mrs. Bill (Moniel)Johansen, Kamas; Mrs. James E. (Lee) Reid, Spanish Fork; 42 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral will be Thursday 1 p.m., Nephi 4th-5th LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi, Wednesday 7-9 p.m., and at the chapel before services. Burial will be in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi.
