Samuel L. Burns, age 86, of Olive Branch, formerly of Dongola died this morning at 4:45 a.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo.
Friends may call at the Ford Funeral Home in Dongola after 10 an. Friday.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Chapel Church near Dongola with Rev. Robert M. Waller officiating
Internment will be in the church cemetery
Mr. Burns is survived by five sons, Houston of Dongola, Cecil of Kenoshia, Wisc., Ralph, Otis and Theadore of Olive Branch, one daughter, Mrs. Ella Johnson of Cape Girardeau, one step daughter, Mrs. Martha Overfield of Vienna; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Fiest of Granite City, Ill. and other relatives.
