Obituary:
Fannie Belle Burns, age 76 years, died Wednesday morning at her home near Olive Branch, after an extended illness. She and her husband, Samuel M. Burns, were formerly residents of Dongola.
She leaves her husband, Samuel M. Burns, of Olive Branch and the following children: Clora Kaufamn of Dongola, Martha Overfield of Vienna, Houston Burns of Miller City, Ella Johnson of Thebes, Ralph Burns of Olive Branch, Cecil Burns of Russel, Theodore Burns of Miller City, and Otis Burns of Olive Branch; and two brothers, Sherman Sivia and Levi Sivia, both of Dongola.
The body is at the family residence near Olive Branch where friends may call.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian Chapel Church near Dongola, Friday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Merritt Youngblood and burial will be made in the Christian Chapel Cemetery.
