Jonathan Jones, age 68, died Wednesday night at his home, 1211 South Main, Wichita, after a prolonged illness. He had suffered a number of paralytic attacks. He came to Wichita from Whitewater in 1915, and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Besides his widow Florence he is survived by five daughters; Mrs. C.E. Rice, Miss Dorothy Jones, Miss. Helen Fuller, Mrs. J.H. Waggoner and Mrs. H.F. Swaney, three sons; Earl D., Cleve I. and J. Donald; two sisters, Mrs. M.C. Miller and Mrs. O.M. Dilley and a brother H.B. Jones. There are also nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Westminster Presbyterian Church Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. W.R. Gillis officiating. The body will be sent to Elbing, Kas. for interment. Downing Mortuary is in charge.
