BIO:Known as Fannie, Frances (sometimes spelled Francis) Paxson was born in West Liberty, Ohio on August 10, 1826. Marrying Ananias in 1847, Fannie moved to Mt. Victory, Ohio until 1865 and then moved to Cedar County Iowa. In 1876, she and Ananias moved to Butler County, Kansas,
settling near Elbing.

Fannie's ancestors (Paxson side) date back as far as 1682, when three Paxson brothers, James (Fannie's great-great-great grandfather),William, and Henry came to America on the good ship "Samuel". The three brothers settled in Bucks co. Pennsylvania from the parish of Marsh Gibbons County (Buckshire) England. Fannie's grandparents moved to Champaign County Ohio in 1808, and their son William, Fannie's father, lived there until around 1845, when he moved to Hardin County, Ohio.

Ananias and Fannie were the parents of six children. Listed in order of birth there was Almira Jane, who married Octavius Dilley; Henry Beacom, who married Cornelia Whitmer; Margaret Ellen; who married Amasa Johnston; Jonathan Henry, who married Sarah Luvina Cope; Emma Dora, who married John Saunders and then Milton Miller; and Albert, who died young.

From a general affidavit Hardin county Ohio dtd 10-02-1901:
In the matter of pension claim of Fanny Jones, widow of Ananias Jones, he... ... on this... resident of Mt. Victory, county of Hardin, as follows: I was present at the marriage of Ananias Jones and Fanney Paxson which occured in September 1847 in Hale Township hardin county Ohio, neither of them were ever married prior to their marriage to each other, and they lived together as man & wife until his death.
