Mrs. LuStella J. Hankins, 88, of Excelsior Springs, died Thursday at the Excelsior Springs City Hospital. She was born September 20, 1891 near Lawson, MO; the daughter of William H. and LuVica (Mosley) Wise.

On February 12, 1912 she was married Oscar Hankins. He died April 13, 1963.

She was a member of the Old Union Christian Union Church.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Elsie M. Nolker of Excelsior Springs, MO; two half-sisters, Mrs. Iva Welfelt of Excelsior Springs, MO; and Mrs. Abbie Moss of Polo, MO; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

One brother, two sisters, and three half-sisters preceded her in death.

Services were held Saturday at the Old Union Christian Union Church, with Rev. Marvin Duncan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
