Elsie May Nolker, 86, of Lawson, died September 22, 1999 at Liberty Hospital. She was born December 13, 1912 to William Oscar and LuStella J. (Wise) Hankins, in Ray county near Vibbard.
On August 25, 1935, she was united in marriage to Emil F. Nolker at her parents home near Old Union Church.
She was a member of Old Union Christian Union Church for 70 years.
She had taught at Murray School, east of Old Union.
Mrs. Nolker was preceded in death by her husband on October 6, 1967; her parents; and one great-granddaughter, Kyla Baird.
Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Doris Kay and Jesse Baird of Lawson; two sons and their wives, Donald 'Kit' and Dorothy Nolker of Polo; and E. Kevin and Deborah Nolker of Warrensburg; two granddaughters; five grandsons; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were September 25 at Old Union Christian Union Church; burial in Old Union Cemetery.
