"Mrs. Rosa A. Harmon died June 5 at her home near Union Bridge from a complication of diseases, aged 31 years, 5 months and 4 days. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. Elias Valentine, of Rocky Ridge, at which place the funeral services were held by her pastor, Rev. R. L. Patterson, on Wednesday, June 7. A large gathering of relatives and friends assembled, showing the high esteem which was held for her by all who knew the departed. She is survived by a husband, Mr. Edward Harmon, and one son."
