Albert Walter Allen, 46, passed away on August 20, 1963 at the Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover, NH, after a long illness.
He was born in Springfield on November 29, 1916; the son of Duane Divoll and Clarissa Mary (Converse) Allen.
He was employed as a machinist at Bryant Grinder in Springfield and also as a farmer in Charlestown, NH and was a member of the Lincoln Grange in North Springfield.
Albert is survived by his wife, Norma (Parker) Allen, whom he married December 12, 1936 in Springfield; his mother, Mrs. Clarissa Allen of Cornish, NH; and a grandmother, Mrs. O.J. Converse of Springfield; his children Rodney, Rita, Gerald, Susan, Debra, and Marla; four brothers; two sisters; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father and infant brother.
