Lillian Alice Hill passed away on December 4, 1996 at her daughter's home in Springfield, VT after a long illness. She was born in Perkinsville, VT on November 7, 1918; the daughter of Duane Divoll and Clarissa Mary (Converse) Allen.
She had been a longtime resident of the Springfield, North Springfield community.
Lillian attended both North Springfield and Springfield schools.
She is survived by one daughter, Jeannette M. Davis of Weathersfield; three granchildren, four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Dennis Allen of Claremont, NH and Duane Allen Jr. of Cornish, NH; one sister of Claremont, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Arthur Hill whom she married on June 7, 1939 in Springfield and he preceded her in death in 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Albert, Claude, Harland, and an infant boy.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
