Esther retired in 1984 from the Dartmouth Woolen Mill where she was employed as a spinner for 40 years.
She was the widow of Glenn D. Lord whom she married on March 24, 1940 and he died October 26, 1992. She was also predeceased by one son, Neil G. Lord; two daughters, Dianna Lee Howard and Nancy Lord; five brothers, Dennis, Albert, Harley, an infant boy, and Claude and one sister Lillian Hill.
Members of her surviving family include two sons, Kenneth V. Lord of Hernando, FL and Glenn D. Lord, II of El Cajon, CA; three daughters, Glenda M. Osmer of Woodstock, VT, Cheryl J. Amos of Village, VA and Janice C. Prichard of Fernley, NV; one brother, Duane Allen, Jr. of Cornish, NH; twenty three grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Springfield, VT.
