Mrs. Agnes Doyle Succumbs Monday; Rites Wednesday

Mrs. Agnes Doyle, a resident of Pocahontas county for 60 years, died at 1:00 a.m. Monday in the Bangston convalescent home in Goldfield. She had been a patient there for the past year.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in Sacred Heart church at 9:30 with the Rev. Fr. Geo. F. Wessling celebrant of the requiem Mass. Interment was in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were: [blank]

Agnes Wolfe was the daughter of Maurice and Ellen Wolfe and she was born at Ottowa, Ill., Apr. 8, 1872. she came to Pocahontas county with her parents in 1887 when they settled on a farm in Lincoln township. She was united in marriage with Leonard Doyle in July 1902 and they farmed near Pocahontas until his death Jan. 13, 1910. She then moved to Pocahontas to make her home. A son, Carl died in 1923 at the age of 14. Four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Julia Henneberry of Waco, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
