Edward Wolfe, water inspector for the Great Northern with head quarters at Malta, died at the Mary Survant Memorial hospital at that place Monday morning Nov 17, about 4 o'clock. Death is believed to have followed a hemorrhage in connection with ulcers of the stomach. He had only been in the hospital a day or so. The body of Mr. Wolfe will be taken to Iowa for burial. He is not known to have any relatives in Montana, but has a couple of sisters in Iowa. Mr. Wolfe was a veteran on that division of the Great Northern, he having been assigned to differnt places along this division for the past 26 years. He formerly had lived both at Havre and Cut Bank, but has made his home at Malta for the past four or five years.
