Mr. Chrismon was a native of Guilford County and the son of the late Ira and Myrtle Chrismon. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. He was a member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church. He enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica, riding his tractor and telling jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Howerton Chrismon; brothers, Jake, Jessie, Lloyd, and Pete; sisters, Thelma Whitesell and Fleta Coltrane. He is survived by his children, Rodney Chrismon (Roberta), Ricky Chrismon (Pat); 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers Eugene Chrismon (Dot) and Donnie Chrismon (Tinnie).
