Adrean LaFave, 49. World War veteran and a life-long resident of this village, died 8unday morning at. 4 o'clock at his home, Joseph St.. after a long illness. He had been under treatment for a coronary heart condition for several years. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'olock at 8L Alphonsus Church. Burial, with military honors accorded by Edmund Bujold Poet 3l30, V.F.W, was In the family plot at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. He was born in Tupper Lake, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis LaFave, on Aug. t, 1893. his death coming on his 49th birthday. During the World War he saw active service in France as private in Co. B. 135th Infantry, and was gassed. In recent years Mr. LaFave had been treated at the veterans' hospitals at Canandalgna, Sunmotmt, and NorthpVt, L. I. In 1929 he was married to Miss Matilda Vlsneau of Matone, who survives. Surviving also are two sons, Arlen, 11, and Orville, 9; three brothers, Lawrence, Joseph
and Clifford LaFave, Tupper Lake; and four sisters, Mrs. Victoria LaFrance, Mrs. Fred Proulx, and Mrs. Alex Reando, all of Tupper Lake, and Mrs. Alexlna Houle of Little Falls, N. Y. Mr. LaFave was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans of the World War, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
