Mrs. Mary Jane Reandeau, 81. of 32 McLaughlin ave., died at 1:05 p. m. Monday at Saranac Lake General Hospital after a short illness.. She had been removed to the Saranac hospital by the Tupper Lake Emergency Squad Sunday. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. today at St. Alphonsus Church. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the spring. She was born in Tupper Lake on Oct. 6, 1891, the daughter of Louis and Delima Sequin LaFave, who were among the pioneer settlers of this village. She attended the local. schools, and was married about 60 years ago at St. Alphonsus Church to Alexander Reandeau, who survives. Surviving, besides her husband, are 13 of the 16 children born to them: nine sons: Carter, Earl, Clarence, Donald, Armand, Leonard, Howard, Lawrence and Alexander Reandeau Jr., and four daughters: Mrs. Robert (Thersa) Pilon, Mrs. Edward (Freda)[orrow, Mrs. Dolphus (Ruth) LaPierre and Mrs. Maurice (Rita) St. Pierre, all of Tupper Lake; one brother, Joseph LaFave of this village; 46 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
