DEATH OF 19-YEAR OLD SON OF JAMES AND MRS. McCARTY
Emmett McCarty, son of Mr. and Mrs. James McCarty, passed away Saturday morning at the home of his parents four miles south of this city, after a brief illness with appendicitis. Had the young man survived until October 11th, he would have been nineteen years of age. Emmett McCarty was born in this county on October 11, 1890, and has spent almost all of his short life in the vicinity in which he resided. Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters and four brothers and a host of friends to mourn his departure.
The funeral services were held Monday at ten o'clock at the Ball Hill Church, Reverend Wyant of Bringhurst officiating. Interment was made in Ball Hill Cemetery.
