Cutler ---- James M. McCarty, 91 Cutler R. R. 1 died at 8:30 pmMonday at Deer Creek Nursing Home.. He suffered a stroke last Thursday morning and was admitted to the nursing home taht evening. Mr McCarty was born east of Cutler on Sept. 17 , 1864 the son of James M and Lydia Tinkle McCarty. He was married to Emma Rosella Eaton who died in ? Mr McCarty was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount Olivet Methodist Church. Surviving are four sons, Earl of Cutler R.R.1 Cleo of San Jose Calif. Carey of Cutler R.R.and James M. McCarty Jr. of Okahoma, Two daugthers Mrs Laura Larrimore of San Jose Calif. and Amy Baird of Gary Ind, one brother Willard of Boling Mo. six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Carter Funeral Home with rev James Concill Officiating, Burial in the Ball Hill Cemetery.
