AGED RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES IN CAREY---Christian Hoepf, aged 74, a lifelong resident of the county died Saturday night in his home in Carey after a short illness. Death was due to infirmities of age. Mr. Hoepf was born near New Riegel where he spent the greater portion of his life. Five years ago he moved to Carey. His wife's death occurred 10 years ago, while the family was still living at New Riegel. He is survived by the following children: Charles, of Tymochtee, O.; Florian, on South Plank road; Mrs. Andrew Borer of New Riegel and Miss Amanda Hoepf, at home. Two brothers, Jacob and Frank both of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hummer, living in Alabama, and Mrs. Davie Cramer of Oklahoma City, Okla., also survive. Funeral services are to be held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock in the church of the Immaculate Conception in Carey. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
