A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Ralph Lineberry, and the daughter of William Thomas Aldridge and Hulda Ann Page Aldridge, both deceased. She was retired from Tower Hosiery with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Ladies Relief Society of the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lorena L. Richardson of Casey, S.C.; two sons, Gratin Ray Lineberry of Banner Elk and Atlanta, and George K. Lineberry of Charlotte; three brothers, Daniel Aldridge of Shelly, Idaho, Curry Aldridge and Rufus Aldridge, both of Burlington; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Mammie" Stainback, Annie A. Terrell and Esther A. Maples; three brothers, Earl J. Aldridge, Ira Aldridge and Henry Aldridge; one daughter, Miss Geraldine Lineberry; and one son, Richard Lineberry.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Caswell Ward, by Bishop Scott Oakley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 this evening, and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
