Curry Phillip Aldridge was a native of Caswell County NC. He was the son of Hulda Ann Page Aldridge and William Thomas Aldridge and the husband of Daisy Terrell. He was the father of Myra Aldridge Page, Melva Dean Aldridge and Wilbur B. Aldridge, grandfather of 12, great-grandfather of 27 and great-great grandfather of 8 children. He was the brother of Rufus Aldridge, Earlie J. Aldridge, Ira Aldridge, Dan Aldridge and Henry Aldridge, Mamie Aldridge Stainback, Pearl Aldridge Lineberry, Annie Aldridge Terrell and Esther Aldridge Maples.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Caswell Ward, and a Branch President for 19 years and spent his entire life in service of others.
