William Thomas Aldridge (1862-1924) operated a grist mill on South Country Line Creek by steam power in the early twentieth century. Druwry A. Bird and his brother, Linzy, worked there. Johnnie Massey bought the mill, equipment, and operated a sawmill with power from the same steam engine.
