Gurnsey Brown Smith (1885-1968)

Celestia Ann Smith (1899-1989)

Arthur Eugene Smith (1903-1955)
Elmer Merald Smith (1905-1990)

I just ran across a letter written on February 1, 1943 written by her father, Joseph M. Smith.
"My daughter Edith was sorely afflicted with whooping cough and later developed lung trouble. I went to the Lord earnestly to know why she couldn't be healed." I received this answer: "Your daughter is wanted on the other side." I accepted this answer.

I had also heard that she had fell out of the second floor window. This was verified by research I did yesterday. I had also heard it had caused her death, which was incorrect. It is said that she fell out of the second floor window and broke her arm. Dr. Ruel Rogers was called to the home where he set the arm.

REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE AUNT EDITH..
