CRESCENT: Harriet Rosetta Smith Fairbourn, age 90, died November 26,1987 at the home of a daughter in Sandy, Utah.
Born April 21, 1897 in Draper, Utah to Joseph Michael and Celestia Ann Brown Smith.
Married Leslie Delroy Fairbourn in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 1, 1917; he preceded her in death November 1, 1982.
She served as organist in all the organizations of Draper and Crescent wards. Served on Mt. Jordan Stake Primary Board and in the Crescent Ward Relief Society Presidency. She was a teacher in all the organizations. She loved music, and though legally blind enjoyed playing her organ just months prior to her death. She was a rightous example of enduring to the end.
Survivors; sons and daughters, Merle L. Salt Lake City; Marion D.; Mrs Kenneth E.(Mary) Nokes, both Sandy; Jerry E; Ross E; Mrs Frank L. (Roylance) Holt; Mrs Glade W. (LaVerl) McKee, all S. Jordan; Mrs Lowell C (Ila Mae) Dahl, Boise, Id; Mrs Fred E. (Vauna) Moosman, N. Salt Lake; 50 grandchildren; 115 great grandchildren; brother E. Merald Smith, Salt Lake City; sister, Ann Garfield, Draper.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 30, 11 a.m. in the Crescent 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 89 East 11000 South, Sandy. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Street, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, at the church one hour prior. Interment Crescent Cemetery.

This is my Dad's sister. I remember good times at Reunions with Aunt Rose and Uncle Les. She was a beautiful lady with so much love to give.
