Funeral services for George R. Lyall, 84 years old, Arizona pioneer, who died at his home, 334 North 16th street yesterday, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the A. H. McLellan Mortuary, with the Rev. C. Arlin Heydon pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in tne family plot in Greenwood Cemetry.
Mr. Lyall was born In Cainsville, Mo., in 1859 and came to Phoenix with his wife, Elizabeth Jane Lyall in 1887. He had been engaged in farming in the Salt River valley until about seven years ago, when he was forced to retire because of a heart ailment. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World.
Surviving are four sons. Ernest, Earl and Ross of Phoenix, and Fred of Yuma; and three daugnters, Mrs.Emma Bush and Misses berta and Dallas Lyall, all of Phoenix. Mrs. Lyall died four weeks ago.
