SCHOOL ROMANCE TO ALTAR
The romance of a boy and girl love affair, which started in their high school days, culminated in a quiet but pretty wedding, Saturday evening, in which Howard Ross Lyall and Miss Elsia MacDonald were the principals. The marriage took place at 8 o'clock at 901 North Fourth street, the future home of the young couple. Dean William Scarlett of Trinity Pro-cathedral performed the ceremony, in the presence of a few relatives and friends, Miss MacDonald was assisted by Miss Dorothy Warner as maid of honor and James Hess acted as best man. After congratulations had been offered, a wedding supper was served to those present.
Miss MacDonald is a daughter of Duncan MacDonald, and has recently been connected with the food administration of the State Council of Defense. She is a graduate of the local high school of the class of 1917.
Mr. Lyall graduated from Phoenix Union High school in 1916 and since has held a position with the reclamation service.
